Released in 1991 and running a little long at 118 minutes a took 1 and 1/2 stars off for the length and a mostly unknown cast over here as it's a UK picture and the accents can also be annoying.That said,its a good,funny irrevrant comedy. White trash Irish meet low down black soul in Dublin and we're off on a fun ride with Star Treks Colm Meaney as the dad who LOVES Elvis as his son is forming this"Black Irish"band.Must see if you want to see something completely different.Trailer URL follows the pix and a IMDB summary below.
