Reign Of Assassins - 4 stars out of 5 stars

Released in 2010 and running 117 minutes, this partially producer and partially directed Woo film, main director and writer Chao-Bin Su,is not as historical as other Asian films I reviewed BUT good fun anyway.Starring Michelle Yeoh, its a love story to"die"for.
It's hard to follow sometimes while reading sub-titles and a far out plot about eternal "kung-fu"power,thus 1 star off,but it is about 600 years in the past when China was like our own wild west in some respects but this films ironic love story and bad guys with the requisite ballet style fighting scenes is truly fun to watch. Trailer URL follows the picture and a IMDB summary is below.Enjoy !!!!

Set in ancient China, Zeng Jing is a skilled assassin who finds herself in possession of a mystical Buddhist monk's remains. She begins a quest to return the remains to its rightful resting place, and thus places herself in mortal danger because a team of assassins is in a deadly pursuit to possess the remains which holds an ancient power-wielding secret.
