Wasn't a big fan of the first movie so don't look for it on this blog,however this 2012 sequel,that runs only 92 minutes is watchable.The reason I took 2 stars off was because it couldn't decide what kinda movie it wanted to be so it was weak in both types.I'm not buying Liam Neeson as this generations Charles Bronson however the actress that plays his daughter,Maggie Grace, is intriguing and we'll see what the future has in store for her.She gives this film the second level of a "family"coping with coming of age and reconciliation,film
The plot of this movie is simple and really pointless but the action is fast and well done,both the car chases and martial art fight scenes.Its not a big waste of time but there are better films so I recommend only for the action,not the story.
